My Morning Ritual, Before and After the Late Sets
Right, confession time. People always ask what happens the morning after a late set. Do I sleep till noon? Do I go straight back to the decks? The honest answer is somewhere in the middle, and it always starts in the kitchen.
The morning after
I get in late, headphones still round my neck, set bag dropped by the door. Next morning, whatever time that morning turns out to be, the ritual is the same. Kettle on, playlist on, and a glass of vanilla Elavate Multi Collagen Superblend. Then the day starts.
It is a little moment that is just mine before the emails, the edits and the prep for the next gig. Think of it like the intro bar of a track. Nothing fancy, but you notice when it is missing.
Gig day too
Before a set, my checklist is USBs, headphones, backup cables, outfit, and my Elavate before I head out. Early set or late set, it fits in the same slot every time. Studio days are no different: mug on the side, GRV6 switched on, first track loaded.
